This person was born on the 31 st July 1962 in Orlando Florida. At a very early age he moved to New York City and he grew up in the South Bronx. From a very early age he developed an interest in acting, attending Manhattan High School for the performing arts which was popularized by the film Fame which was made there. But his Mother moved him back to Florida before he could graduate, so he graduated at a high School in Florida and then went on to study at State University of New York . After appearing in local dinner theaters he was discovered by an agent and got his first role as Truemaine in the film Wildcats. |

Through the 80's he starred in a few more film roles playing characters such as Roland Jenkins- Streets Of Gold, Willie Mays Hayes - Major League & Thomas Flanigan - Kings Of New York. But it was his part in Michael Jackson's Bad video that really got the attention of some big Directors. |

So it was from there the film roles started coming in he played characters such as Shadow Henderson - Mo' Better Blues, Nino Brown - New Jack City, Raymond Hill - The Waterdance, Sidney Dean - White Men Can't Jump & John Cutter - Passenger 57. He did manage to find time in between all those films to do one of his other loves which is Shuri- Ryu Karate in which he is a 5 th Degree Black Belt. |
