This person was born on the 26 th July, 1964 in Arlington Virginia . As a young child while her opera singer mother went on tour she spent time in Salzburg where she lived with her Aunt and Grandma and attended the local school, this is why she can speak fluent German. Then at the age of 10 she went to high school in Virginia and was a popular cheerleader. She went from there to do a stint at East Carolina University majoring in drama. Then she came to New York to concentrate on her acting career. She studied with Dramatician Sanford Meisner . She got her start with a number of stage productions, but it was her part in “ No Time Flat ” that landed her an agent. She then got a few small TV roles such as Kate Mason and also as Tess McGill in the TV version of Working Girl . But her big screen debut came as Lisa Edwards in Hangman .

In 1990 she met the first love of her life while playing the character Lori in the film Who Do I Gotta Kill and that was the reason she came to Los Angeles to follow the man she loves. The work slowly started coming in playing roles such as Devlin Moran - Who Shot Patakango, Diana Farrow - Love Potion No9, Diane Shaver - The Vanishing & Linda Lue Linden - The Thing Called Love.

One Co-star she worked with found her once in her trailer on the set of a film making peanut butter and marshmallow sandwiches for the rock band The Motley Crew, unfortunately she actually had no idea who they were!! Some of the other roles which she portrayed were Alyssa Rothman - Fire On The Amazon, Elaine - Wrestling Earnest Hemmingway, Angela Bennett - The Net, Ellen Roark - A Time To Kill & Gwen Cummings -28 days.

In 1995 she did split with the first love of her life and was badly hurt by the whole relationship, to help her get over it she started her own production company called Fortis Films and in 1998 her first film came out. Some of the roles which make her the star she is today were Lt. Lenina Huxley - Demolition Man, Lucy Moderatz - While You Were Sleeping, Birdee Pruitt - Hope Floats, Sally Owens - Practical Magic, Sarah Lewis - Forces Of Nature & Cassie Mayweather- Murder By Numbers.

And finally some of her more recent roles were Gracie Hart - Miss Congeniality who was an under cover cop at a beauty Pagent as Gracie Lou Freebush . She also played alongside Hugh Grant as the character Lucy Kelson - Two Weeks Notice.
