This person was born on May 16 th 1953 . He was brought up by his mother after his parents split when he was only young. He was put into a Catholic Lodging School were he suffered severe beatings plus he claims “he had religion rammed down his throat”. And due to an investigation with the News Of The World the school was shut down only a few months after he left pending a serious investigation.

Once he left school he trained to be a commercial artist but this wasn't his first love as in his spare time he was acting at the Kennigton's Oval House. So only after a few months he left his full time job and enrolled at drama school. And in 1976 he made his professional debut on stage in Wait until Dark. This led to him starring in many stage shows, this finally led him to the beginning of his career on TV. The first TV show he starred in was a BBC show called Murphy's Stroke .

His career was now still in television as he starred in a TV show called The Manions . He was also married at this time to a lady who once starred as a Bond Girl, they had 3 children together but unfortunately she lost her life in the early 90's after they had only been married ten years due to ovarian cancer.

After the death of his beloved wife he hid away for a short time but then came back still starring in TV roles and he won a Golden Globe Award for one of his roles. Then only in the mid 90's did his movie career take off as he starred as characters such as Valeri Petrofsky – The Fourth Protocol, Dr Lawrence Angelo – The Lawnmower Man, Garavan – Entangled & Mike Graham – Death Train.

Into the mid to late 90's his movie career really started to take off as he was getting bigger and better roles starring as characters such as Stuart Dunmeyer - Mrs Doubtfire, Sir William Johnson – The Broken Chain, Ken Allen – Love Affair, Professor Donald Kessler – Mars Attacks & Harry Dalton – Dante's Peak.

He also brought out his own production company, Irish Dream Team and the first film released was called “The Nephew”. He also supplied the voice of King Arthur in the film “Quest For Camelot”.

Into the new century his career was at its best starring in roles such as Joe Brady – The Nephew, John Macghee – The Match, Desmond Doyle – Evelyn, Daniel Rafferty – Laws Of Attraction, Julian Noble – The Matador & Thomas Crown – The Thomas Crown Affair.

He did also find love again and married for a second time and even though he already had three children from his previous marriage he had another two children with his current wife, Also one of his trademarks features is he has a scar on the right side of his top lip where he was hit in the face by a stunt man on one of his film sets.
