This person was born on the 5 th September 1951. Being the youngest of 7 children home life for him was very hectic. He went to Montour High School then from there he went to Kent State University to studied speech but dropped out after 2 years and moved to Pittsburgh. He had several jobs there such as ice cream truck driver and a stand up comedian, he then got a job as a camera man at Pittsburgh PBS station but this made him realize he wanted to work in front of the camera. So he duly moved out to Los Angeles and began auditioning and got a TV part on a sitcom called Working Stiffs .

From working on that TV show he went on to get his first movie role as Murphy in the film Murphy's Report. Then more film roles followed that such as Jack Butler - Mr Mom , Johnny Kelly - Johnny Dangerously, Hunt Stevenson - Gung Ho & Bobby Barbator - Touch and Go. After this he took two years off to go fly fishing!!

He came back after his break to do some hit titles playing characters such as Daryl Poynter - Clean & Sober, Billy Caulfield - The Dream Team, Carter Heyes - Pacific Heights & Artie Lewis - One Good Cop. He did however turn down the role of Doctor Seth Brundle in the film The Fly and that role eventually went to Jeff Goldblum .
