This person was born on the 29 th September 1944 In New Jersey, U.S.A. Living with his mother from the age of 6 after his parents divorced, he went to Eaglebrook School in Massachusetts . From an early age he always wanted to be an actor even though his father was strongly opposed to him or any of his brothers getting into the acting scene, But he was persistent and finally his father gave in and let him try. His first real big break was on the TV show “The Streets Of San Francisco” which he starred in for quite a while and got quite a following. But he then had massive success behind the camera when he produced the film “One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest”.

In the early eighties he went back in front of the camera starring as characters such as Dan Gallagher – Fatal Attraction, Jack. T. Colton – Romancing The Stone, Zach – A Chorus Line, Det. Sgt. Nick Conklin – Black Rain & Superior Court Judge Steven R. Hardin – Star Chamber.

After his accident he came back in more Blockbuster films such as Oliver Rose – War Of The Roses, William Foster – Falling Down, President Andrew Shepard – American President, Charles Remington – The Ghost And The Darkness, Nicholas Van Orton – The Game & Steven Taylor – A Perfect Murder.

By now he was a main stream actor notching up film after film starring in roles such as Professor Grady Tripp – Wonder Boys, Robert Wakefield – Traffic, Steve Tobias – The In-Laws & Pete Garrison – The Sentinel.

And finally he is know for playing very successful, in control business executives & political figures. One role he played was as Nick Curran in a film that was made more famous because of Sharon Stones leg crossing scene!! He also starred as Gordon Gekko in the film Wall Street and of course he is still married to the beautiful Catherine Zeta Jones he is of course:-
