This Person Was Born in Englewood New Jersey on The 18 th February 1954 , He is One Of six Children. His Father Owned a Tire Repair Shop , and in his early teens he appeared in a local production of “Who'll Save The Plowboy” his mother was so impressed with his performance she enrolled him Part time in drama school in New York where he studied Voice,Dancing & Acting. He decided to try & combine all 3 skills and become a musical comedy performer.

He Got offered his first professional role at 16 in the summer stock production of the musical
bye bye birdy so at aged 16 he quit school and moved to New York Permanently.
He also appeared in many Tv commercials advertising products such as
wheaties , brook bond tea , Buitoni , and Burger King to name a few.

His Really Big break Came in 1975 when he landed the role of Vinnie Barbarino in the

Tv sitcom “Welcome Back Kotter”
